Reblog: Enhanced OpsMgr Alert Notification Emails

A former colleague of mine has written a great post on how to extend the capabilities of any OpsMgr alert notification by utilising the Command channel and a little powershell.
As he points out, some of the information included in his sample is:
- Alert name, description, severity, resolution state, source, path, Time created
- Monitor / Rule name
- Knowledge Article for the particular monitor / rule
- Web console URL link to the alert
- PowerShell command to retrieve the alert from SCOM command console
